Canadian Pacific Westbound Merchandise, White Canyon, Thompson River, British Columbia

            Photographed from the Kumsheen Rafting Resort next to the Trans-Canada Highway, 3 Canadian Pacific locos pass through the White Canyon with a Westbound Merchandise Train. On point is #9157 (SD80/90), the middle loco is #5963 (SD40-2) and in number 3 position #9612 (AC4400CW).

The Canyon is located 4 miles North East of Lytton and spans Mile 93.1 to 94.6 of Canadian National's Ashcroft Subdivision. It has frequent rock fall activity making it perhaps the most treacherous part of the line that CP and CN trains have to pass through.
