Memorial Garden, Ettelbruck, May 2019

            A memorial garden in Ettelbruck, Luxembourg, commemorating the liberation of the city by the Americans in 1944-5, as a part of the Allied victory in 'The Battle of the Bulge,' and in particular the role played in the Allied advance by General George S Patton Jr.
The garden also contains a preserved Sherman tank, typical of the heavy armour that was used to spearhead the advance.
