            L'abbazia di Fiastra sorge nella bassa valle del Chienti in prossimità dell'omonimo fiume, nel territorio dei comuni di Tolentino e Urbisaglia e rappresenta il più importante edificio monastico delle Marche. Costruita nel XII sec., con uno stile di transizione dal romanico al gotico, rispecchia in pieno l'influsso cistercense lombardo. Tutt’attorno all’Abbazia sorge una estesa riserva naturale gestita dal WWF.

The abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra is located in the italian region of Marche: it is the most important monastic building in this region. It was built in XII cent. with a style in transition between romanic and gothic, with clear influences of the Cistercians style from Northern Italy. All around the abbey there is a wide natural reserve managed by WWF.
