La scalinata rossa - The red staircase

            Il simbolo di Comacchio (Ferrara) è il complesso architettonico dei Trepponti, costruito nel 1634, costituito da cinque ampie scalinate (tre anteriori - visibili nell'immagine - e due posteriori), culminanti in un piano in pietra d'Istria e corredato di due torri.
Il complesso si trova su due canali che si intersecano alla principale via d’acqua di accesso alla cittadina.
Durante le festività di fine anno i Trepponti vengono illuminati da giochi di luce, creando suggestivi effetti.

The symbol of Comacchio town (Italy) is the architectural complex of the Trepponti, built in 1634, consisting of five large staircases (three front - visible in the image - and two back), culminating in a floor in Istrian stone and equipped with two towers.
The complex is located on two canals that intersect with the main waterway accessing the town.
During the end-of-year festivities the Trepponti are illuminated by plays of light, creating suggestive effects.
