            Coastal colours.

It was possible to see three different liveries with Coast based brand names in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft in May 2024, two of which are seen here in Lowestoft bus station (which is now devoid of the red "Eastern Counties bus station" lettering of which I'd previously commented had seemed to  evade the Aberdeen image police).
 In the foreground is coastalreds branded Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 36287 departing for Great Yarmouth and then onwards to Norwich on the X1 service. The X1 is more normally operated by coastlink branded buses (mainly the former Excel branded Enviro 400s, supplemented by various early B9TLs such as 37141 seen in the background). The coastalreds brand seemed to be mainly used for local services within the two towns, so 36287 was stretching it's legs a little.
 The third coast related brand was the blue Coastal Clipper, which could be seen in Lowestoft on the 1 service to Great Yarmouth, Caister and Hemsby, and the 99 to Kessingland and Southwold. All three liveries, whilst distinctly different, were all set out in the familiar First bus livery template, which is soon to disappear in favour of yet another dull national livery.
  36287 was a former Go Ahead London bus, one of several bought secondhand to address the aging profile of some of the First fleets, helping to remove the early B7TLs from the Eastern Counties fleet
