Wild Flowers at Carrizo Plain National Monument

            The valley floor inside the Carrizo Plain National Monument were covered with these yellow wild flowers.  It made an amazing carpet of yellow for miles in certain areas.  I saw three young ladies eating lunch among the flowers in one location and you could barely see them because of the flowers being so thick.  If you live near Bakersfield or want to take a nice Sunday drive like I did, this would be a great place to visit over the next few weeks.  The wild flowers are pretty amazing this year will all our storms.
