Deltic after dark. 55 022 in Mossend Up Loco HS.

            With no tripod to hand I had to make do with the running rail but couldn't pass up the chance to secure a shot of this one time East Coast racer under the floodlights in Mossend Yard Up Loco Sidings. As has been the case for some time 55 022 'Royal Scots Grey' has been on hire to GB Railfreight for stock moves between ScotRail depots and the workshops at Kilmarnock or Springburn. One such move must have been imminent for it to be stabled overnight in Mossend Yard.
