            How often do we think if only I had got my camera with me, but thankfully I often had it there ready to take a photograph especially when I was near buses ready for that beautiful face to appear through the crowd. Pictures like this make me wonder what happened to these people and whether having a gift in life brought them good luck or not. Some of us have to try harder but it doesn't neccessarily mean we become nicer people. As a young teenager as well as a adolescent  crush I tended to get an emotional attachment to the buses they went to school on as well. Just over the road used to depart the 11 and 23 routes to Flixton and Davyhulme which was able to boast it employed  Princess Road's very first shiny Daimer Fleetlines 4601 to 4609 taking them in 1963 passed her house in Derbyshire Lane. It was just a holiday friendship really nothing sexual but still an awakening as I was thirteen and she was a very precocious nine. But having to go to all-male board schools screws you up and you either grow up hating them or become a sexual deviant like sweet innocent Jojo lol, and I'm sure I would have become much more normal because I remember I used to be much happier at day school when I could mix as I always got on better and felt more relaxed with girls. Even then my mother didn't approve of my friends and in Imelda's case it was because they were Catholics but it just as well might have been because they didn't own a car or have a telephone. Mother also slightly reseted me for not being a girl having had two boys but I shudder to think what she would have made of Jojo she certainly wouldn't have bragged about it.
