            A charming paperback booklet looking at "Londres autrefois et aujourd'hui" - " London then and now" published by the Chemins de Fer Britanniques at their Paris offices, 12 Boulevard de la Madeleine, Paris IXe. and written by Richard Viner. It consists of a close look at the history of London and compares this with the city of today. Undated, the last text mention of a year is 1934 and so it feels correct to assume a publication date of 1935.

The publishers are the Associated British Railways, set up in c.1932/33 to rationalise the publicity efforts of the UK's Big Four railways as well as the Irish state's undertaking. This, printed at the Curwen Press in London, has a cover by Victor Reinganum (1907–1995), the British artist and illustrator whose work was often commissioned by the Southern Railway and indeed this booklet has a real "Southern" feel about it so it is possible their Publicity Department it together for the Associated British Railways. The cover shows two symbols of London; the Yeoman of the Guard or Beefeater and the London Policeman.
