My Knights In Shining Armour - a photo on Flickriver

            This past Sunday evening around 11:30pm Oscar and Milo alerted me, by barking and growling like I have never heard before, to a unknown person standing on my deck looking into my kitchen window! Milo was up on hind legs barking at the window and Oscar was at the kitchen door wanting to get out there. As you can imagine I was horrified. I grabbed the phone and called the police while I locked and barricaded myself into my bedroom. The first  police  car arrived in a less then 2 minutes and within 5 minutes there were police everywhere around my house, searching in the woods and my neighbor's yards!!! However the person that was on my deck was gone. He was probably scared off by my dogs. It is possible that if Oscar and Milo had not been here this person might have gotten into my house!!!
I am now shopping around for a home security system. Does anyone have any experience with Home Security Systems and can offer some advice as to a reliable company?
