An endless horizon ahead... - a photo on Flickriver

            While the valleys in the North of the Alps are mostly covered in fog these days, in the South there is sunshine and amazingly clear skies.

This pic was taken from Monte Bar, a small peak at the very southern end of Switzerland - with an literally neverending view. Somewhere in the back you can see Monte Rosa, and if I am not mistaken on the very left you can even identify the Monviso, which is far, far away.

Watching a sunset in the Alps is always a unique experience, and never the same. Wish you all a peaceful advent time!
