Another chill moon -[ HSS ]- - a photo on Flickriver

The supermoon of December fourth, 2025. Again, because December full moons are known as the Cold Moon, one of a variety of names of mythological origins, this moon needed a cool look befitting its name.

I'm feeling a bit sad because, according to Wikipedia, the closest supermoon since 2016 will not appear until November 25, 2034, only to be, ahem, eclipsed by an even closer one come December 6, 2052, twenty-seven years from the date of this post. That's a very long wait.
