            Bruno rocking the comfy cone on the deck.  I was playing volleyball with the kids (teaching bumping and setting to my 5 and 8 year old), and he really really wanted to join us.  This is as close as he got.  

Taken in direct sunlight in the middle of the day.  A time that I usually put the camera away because the light is so harsh.  But since he is so adorable in the cone I thought I would grab a couple of shots.  Also done as part of the 'natural light' assignment in studio 26.  To make the light less harsh I moved him to the part of the railing where I could shoot backlit, with the cone helping keep the exposure on his face nice.

For those dog owners out there (likely about 85% of my flickr friends),  I cannot say enough good things about the comfy cone.  Bruno is particularly big and clumsy with limited problem solving skills.  He often runs into door frames, furniture, and us people while wearing the cone.  These soft edges have protected his neck, as well as out house, furniture and humans.  Highly recommended.  

By the way, I think this title could also work for a soft serve ice cream stand.  Although probably not that well.
