It's amazing what a little change in perspective can do

            A little dyptic of the view from the end of the dock last night.  We've had some active weather here lately, and with that comes cool cloud formations.  These ones were relatively subtle.

These two photos are both shot wide, one with the horizon on the top of the frame and one with it at the bottom.    I like both photos, but find it fascinating how much of a different feel the two photos have.

In the ten minutes following these photos I started fishing, caught a fish, released it, and then it started to rain.  More action than most nights at the cabin have.

I took these shots with studio 26 in mind - working on the concepts of framing options.
