Corona-irony #1

This billboard, on the walk to my local railway station at Darra, first appeared as part of an advertising campaign for Queensland Rail's long-distance services in 2012.

In 2018, I photographed the faded remnants flic.kr/p/JGrVdM and wondered how long it would be before it was replaced. More than 2 years later, it's still there, looking even more faded. And the whole idea of a holiday is is just so February 2020.

How long will it be before such a thing becomes possible again? 23 March 2020
