wednesday lunch - a photo on Flickriver

wednesday lunch

            I baked a chicken this morning and for lunch sliced off some thin strips refried them in a frying pan with homemade bbq sauce, bacon pieces, dijon mustard and garlic.....then laid pieces of sharp cheddar on top of them...kind of made the strips stick together into cheesy patties.....this is my plate 

I also sauteed some onions and mushrooms and carrots....all the ends and bits and carcass are now in a stock pot making chicken stock

i made hubby a sandwich, but for mine I just laid the chicken on a plate topped it with the sauteed vegis and raw onion strips....this was some yummmm!
