2014 034-365 (399) Busy skies

            Getting dressed this morning, I noticed a lovely pink sky to the west in the direction of my monthly location. Unfortunately, by the time I'd finished getting ready for work and driven round the corner it was over.
Here's the sky looking east further on my way to work. 
I remember when we had flights stopped because of the Icelandic eruption: our skies were really clear then. A lot of these higher clouds will be aeroplane contrails.
