Blown, but not blown away - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, here's an oak leaf that got blown into a chain link fence at Portland Head Light. It was a blustery, cooler than normal day in May... actually felt almost like early fall. I took a few photos of just the leaf and fence, but also moved around a bit to get the soft focused lighthouse in the background. I had bought my first digital camera (Kodak DC4800) and was trying it out at a few of our favorite locations. Although it only had a 3.1 MP sensor, it gave me great photos for over five years...eventually developing stress cracks in the body (something to do with the  molding process), allowing moisture to penetrate into the electronics. A friend gave me another one that I still use occasionally.
