Nel mondo oscuro delle fiabe e dei racconti popolari, i più piccoli sono i bersagli prediletti di mostri e orchi che, la maggior parte delle volte, abitano foreste oscure e luoghi maligni, lontani quindi dal caldo e sicuro ambiente familiare.
Sfortunatamente però, esistono creature che non si fanno scrupoli ad effettuare visite a domicilio ai pargoli più vivaci e irrequieti, altre ancora addirittura abitano sotto il letto o l’armadio del malcapitato di turno , in attesa del momento giusto per ghermire il bambino viziato di turno nel sonno, con i loro artigli affilati, e riservargli una fine raccapricciante.
