La competizione fa bene ai ragazzi?
Il concetto di competizione si riferisce originariamente al fatto che in natura gli organismi entrano in lotta tra loro per assicurarsi l’uso delle risorse limitate che l’ambiente mette a disposizione.
Di fatto la competizione rappresenta un fenomeno pervasivo nel quale la prevaricazione sull’altro è pensata spesso come l’unica strategia efficace per affermarsi.
Spesso come genitori chiediamo ai nostri figli di essere i più bravi, i migliori, che sia nella scuola o nello sport, complice un certo orientamento dell’ambiente scolastico e sportivo, che però contribuiamo ad alimentare con questo atteggiamento. Di conseguenza gli stessi ragazzi sono portati a voler superare sempre gli altri e vedere anche a scuola i compagni come avversari.

Is competition good for kids?
The concept of competition originally refers to the fact that in nature organisms fight each other to ensure the use of the limited resources that the environment makes available.
In fact, competition represents a pervasive phenomenon in which bullying others is often thought of as the only effective strategy for asserting oneself.
As parents, we often ask our children to be the best, the smartest, whether at school or in sports, due to a certain orientation of the school and sports environment, which we however contribute to fuel with this attitude. As a result, the same kids are led to always want to surpass others and also see their classmates as opponents at school.
