LA MINI ORCHIDEA

In commercio esistono molte varietà di orchidee, tutte delicate. Una varietà è quella "mini" e si adatta in particolar modo a chi non ha molto spazio a disposizione. Ma ha comunque bisogno di molte attenzioni per crescere sana. La versione più diffusa, e più consigliata per la coltivazione, è quella chiamata Phalenopsis. Le mini orchidee sono chiamate così perché, mentre un'orchidea classica arriva a circa quaranta centimetri di altezza, la versione mini difficilmente supera i dieci. Sono quindi molto più delicate delle orchidee classiche: se intendiamo coltivarne una, dobbiamo armarci di pazienza e tanta attenzione.

THE MINI ORCHID

There are many varieties of orchids on the market, all delicate. One variety is the "mini" one and is particularly suited to those who do not have much space available. But it still needs a lot of attention to grow healthy. The most widespread version, and most recommended for cultivation, is the one called Phalenopsis. Mini orchids are called this way because, while a classic orchid reaches about forty centimeters in height, the mini version rarely exceeds ten. They are therefore much more delicate than classic orchids: if we intend to grow one, we must arm ourselves with patience and a lot of attention.
