This abandoned and badly decaying old farmhouse has been a favorite of mine and others over the years.I make at least one trip each year to check on its condition.I came upon it this time as the sun was setting,which is kind of a fitting allegory for what this old farmhouse has become.The badly decaying roof is now in near collapse condition,and any hope of restoration is probably gone.It will probably remain quite "photogenic" as the decay continues,but in the back of my mind,I was kind of rooting for the old girl...for its legacy to be restored...
