Herbusta - a photo on Flickriver

Herbusta

            When Fiona and I first started to holiday on Skye, one of the places we stayed in was a cottage in the township of Herbusta. Although it is not far from the main road round the top of Trotternish, it is a quiet and peaceful place which not many people visit. We pop back from time to time, particularly at this time of year as the show of wild flowers (Primroses and Lesser Celandines) is impressive. However, although impressive to look at I've never been able to take a decent photograph of them. Instead I decided to take this view which is the the road heading north west. In the background can be seen the Kilmuir Graveyard and across The Minch are the hills of Harris.
