Springtime - a photo on Flickriver

Springtime

            Sometimes you arrive at a location that you wanted to shoot for years, and everything works like magic. For me, this location was Borrowdale Mill in the Lake District. I have seen so many images of that gem, and was delighted when my friend, Brad, suggested that we shoot it. It was raining constantly the day before, but when we arrived to location, there wasn’t a drop of rain, not a soul, and we had the place entirely to ourselves trying different compositions.

So yes, perhaps it would have been more dramatic with a stronger waterflow, but this is what we had at the time. I’d be interested to know whether you also had a place you wanted to shoot for years and how it went when you actually got there.
