Day 365 of 365 days - Cheers. The end of the journey.

I thought this was the perfect way to end my year of photos. I am at one of my favorite places. I am sitting at V-No Wine Bar in Fells Point in Baltimore. Behind me is part of the harbor in Fells Point. The building behind my head is the location used in the TV series Homicide Life In The Streets for the police headquarters. Its one of my favorite shows so that adds to making this my perfect ending photo.

Its been fun taking the photos. I got a little behind the last quarter of the year and had to play catch up by doubling and tripling some of the last days. But I was determined to finish on the same day I started.

This project introduced me to some great guys here on Flickr and has allowed me to make some really good friends. Your comments, laughs, and suggestions have made this year so much fun.

I watched my weight go up and down as I went on diets twice during the year. I realized how much I hated my smile and had some major dental work done about half way through the year to make the corrections I have been putting off for a long time. Looking back at the first photo and at todays, I can see some lines in my face that were not there last year. I learned how to hold the camera at the best angle to hide the wrinkles, the sagging chin, and to show my best side of my face. I bought Photoshop and learned how to use it on my photos. And I also bought a new camera near the end of this year that has helped improve my last few photos.

Too all my buddies out here who have stuck with me, thanks for the friendship. I am going to start a second year. I don't know if I will finish or if I will lose interest or not. So here with this photo is a cheer to the last 365 photos, and a toast to the next.
