            Rail-to-Water Transfer Baldwin DRS64-1500, June 1974. I photographed Rail-to-Water Transfer Geeps here, but missed seeing the Baldwins. 

This was another interesting industrial operation on Chicago's Southeast Side. Located along 100th St. at the Calumet River, as kids we would catch a glimpse of this facility from the Route 106 bus whenever it detoured on 100th St. due to the bridge being up on its normal route on 106th. There's still a large transfer facility / rail yard at this location today.
