African Fish Eagle - a photo on Flickriver

African Fish Eagle

            We went out on a speedboat to an island where we could snorkel. On the way the guide whistled to a number of African Fish Eagles (the national birds of Zambia and Malawi) and encouraged them to hunt with a few small fish he had bought at the market in the morning. Majestic birds, they nonetheless obliged!
