Bolt of the Day

            First night lightning of the year.  Storm was 60 miles to my east (in Nebraska).

Note over shooting tops and perfect anvil.

I've upped the brightness and cropped the sky in keeping with the original image.  I think this now looks more realistic and dramatic.
