Ballet Arizona Dancers' Party-4 - a photo on Flickriver

            Miss Cecily founder and artistic director of Arizona Ballet Theatre in Tucson, Arizona decided she wished to support the newly established Dancers' Benefit Fund of Ballet Arizona Company of Phoenix, Arizona. So we spent the weekend in Phoenix. (More on the hotel later.) 

As you can see, Ballet Arizona Company, under the direction of Ib Anderson, is a young enthusiastic company. The dancers are brilliant... The performances were superb... I will post the program later.

This was an unusual event of the Arizona Ballet Company of Phoenix, Arizona. It was the kickoff benefit event for the The Company's newly established fund for injured or disabled dancers. The program was selected by The Dancers!! And, a number of the selections were choreographed by the dancers themselves. 

Unfortunately, I did not expect to be taking photos at all!! I did not realize there would be a reception afterwards with the dancers. I left my Canon T5i in the hotel room safe, since photos of the performances are not permitted... I happened to have a point and shoot camera I had not used before, so I did not know how to set it properly. The images are all smeared by the slow shutter speed. Oh well, in the face of such poor photographic quality, the dancers' happiness, enthusiasm, and beauty shines through!!
