Indian Village, Lawrence Kansas - a photo on Flickriver

            I shot this just about 13 months ago hoping to someday have HDR software to put it together. I'm still on my free trial of NIK HDR so here's this one. There are so many different ways to edit the photo. I'm liking this one. 

Indian Village is located where 40 and 24 come into Lawrence from the east and split. It was built in about 1935 and used to have "teepee" motel rooms and a gas station (You can just make out the old gas pump island in this shot on the right in the snow near the edge). There is also a building next door with two teepees attached to the front where there used to be a restaurant or dance hall. (This is all from memory so don't quote me on all the dates or use of the 2nd building). The whole place was repainted last year and looks incredible.
