Angel Motors, Edmonton, London N15, G817YPU - FAP-Sanos S315.21

            The Sanos was a Yugoslavian licence-built Mercedes O303 and although looking the part, I think build quality was a bit suspect from what I can gather. A total of 27 examples entered UK service between 1988-92 with Angel taking a pair, this one, in 10/1989 and G133APU a month later. The Sanos was marketed in the UK by Purfleet based Ensign dealership and bus operator as the Charisma. This rare coach is seen here at Bullied Way, Victoria, London, in early 06/1994. Bullied Way also acted as Green Line terminus.
