I once commented to Flickr friend tinaskiwi that I love to get post with New Zealand stamps. I've always had relatives living in New Zealand, but in these days of email and internet, that special moment when an envelope with colourful stamps drops through the letter box happens infrequently. Well, today was different, and kiwi post arrived :)
Thank you so much lovely tina, there it was on the doormat with the bank statement and the fuel bill, a beam of light shining all the way from your North Island. The lighthouse stamp is beautiful with its glow-in-the-dark beam, and the postcard is super special. A little New Zealand sunshine arrived on a very cold, frosty morning here.
