It was a good moment when I discovered the name: 'marmalade' hoverfly

            For those lovely Flickr friends who visit my 'stream for "penwrenny" domestic still life images, or for the rolling waves on the beach for example,  please be patient.  How I envy my Flickr contacts who have a distinctive style, an instantly recognisable way with subject or perhaps nostalgic processing tones. At the moment my photostream flutters just as my brain does, occasionally alighting on something completely different. So, whether it's flower or people portraits, interior shots, landscapes or, as today, a macro insect - they all land here, in my rather muddled collection. One day I might have an answer for "who am I?" photographically speaking ... but not today :)
This was shot in my garden with the glassless Kenko Extension tubes (2 of 3) with an 85mm lens.
