- Photographer's elevated viewpoint is from one of the Hotel Morandi [Doss Building] curved balconies, looking north-west.
- Fouad St became 26th July Street (to mark the day King Farouk left the country after the 23th July revolution in 1952).

- Digital copy of an original B&W real photo postcard purchased by my late father-in-law Driver Tom Beazley, 2/1 Anti-Tank Regiment, 6 Division, 2 Australian Imperial Force. whilst on leave in Cairo.

PROCESS INFO
- Original very faded, grainy & damaged B&W negative was digitized using a Canon Canoscan 8800F scanner.
- Image colorized & quality restored using Skylum Luminar Neo AI, Topaz Gigapixel AI & Adobe Photoshop CS2 softwares.
