Day 53 - 4 Months of Foodography - a photo on Flickriver

            Because I AM CANADIAN!! I am always very proud of who I am and the fact that I am Canadian but this week I am fiercely proud! This has been an eye opening week. I realize that there are many horrible things going on in the world every single day, some of them far away and some of them closer to home. Canada has always been a peaceful, tolerant and accepting country. As a general population, we allow everyone to be who they are and have a pretty accepting framework in which we expect everyone to behave. The events of the last few days have changed many people's perspectives on this beautiful country that we live in and it makes me sad. Sad that people have lost their lives and sad that our own freedoms have been challenged in some ways. I will not change who I am or what I believe in and I'm pretty sure the other 35 million of us won't either! Peace people. Peace!
