Dom zu Eichstätt - Eichstätt Cathedral

            Der Dom zu Eichstätt (St. Salvator, U.L. Frau und St. Willibald) ist die Kathedralkirche des katholischen Bistums Eichstätt in Eichstätt, Bayern. Die dreischiffige Hallenkirche geht auf den Gründungsbau des hl. Willibald zurück, der hier bereits im 8. Jahrhundert eine erste Steinkirche errichtet haben soll. Die heutige Kirche entstand im Wesentlichen in hoch- und spätgotischen Stilformen und wurde 1718 durch eine barocke Westfassade abgeschlossen. Zusammen mit dem Kreuzgang und dem zweischiffigen Mortuarium gilt der Dom als eines der bedeutendsten mittelalterlichen Baudenkmäler Bayerns.
