Well, if this place is haunted, then it's most likely haunted by the spirit, or rather demon of stupidity and lust for destruction. The roof of this small chapel which is located on the premises of an abandoned sanatorium had not been damaged too much by time and neglection, but was destroyed one night several years ago by vandals who set the chapel on fire.

Actually taken back in March on the very first proper spring day during a fantastic photowalk with Flickr friends, but I think the atmosphere here is really autumnal, kind of November-ish, even a little creepy, and also rather sad, I think. 

Processed in Aurora HDR and ON1. In Photoshop I blended the Aurora and ON1 (HDR look) layers with soft light, then, as a finishing touch, added a subtle glow in ON1 to give a kind of airy, ethereal look, that of an old painting, without making it look too unreal.

Oder auch verflucht, wenn schon nicht von Geistern, so doch vom (Un-)Geist der Blödheit und Zerstörungswut. Das Dach dieser kleinen Kapelle auf dem Gelände einer verfallenen Lungenheilanstalt war ursprünglich vom Zahn der Zeit relativ verschont geblieben und in gar nicht mal so schlechtem Zustand - bis zu jener Nacht vor einigen Jahren, als Vandalen sich Zutritt zum Gelände verschafften und die Kapelle in Brand setzten. 

Eine Aufnahme vom ersten richtigen Frühlingstag dieses Jahres, die Atmosphäre ist aber sehr herbstlich, finde ich, und das Foto hätte auch an einem Novembertag gemacht worden sein können. Ein weiteres Foto vom tollen Fotowalk mit Flickr-Freunden Anfang März 2018.

Entwickelt in Aurora HDR und ON1 Photo RAW (HDR look); in Photoshop habe ich die Aurora- und die ON1-Ebene mit weichem Licht überlagert, anschließend noch in ON1 einen leichten Schein darübergelegt, um die verwunschene, leicht unwirkliche Stimmung zu betonen, ohne es allzu unnatürlich wirken zu lassen.
