Good job, Dean. I'm just a little worried about the expiration date ;-) Also, it says "Gorilla Perfume" on the front label. Does that mean the gorillas will take over once the sun has expired? They'd deserve it since humans haven't treated them (or any other living being on this planet, actually the planet itself) very well. But maybe Dean will have made a new sun by then, and we'll have changed and have come to mutual understanding. We should never give up hope. If, however, the sun should really expire on 21/06/22, and not in five billion years as we all have hoped, this is a good song we could all sing together then: XTC, I Remember The Sun, STRG+www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtStJaaH5Cs. Dean, we are counting on you!

This is the bottom label of a small perfume bottle, "SUN" by Lush. Since it's all about the sun (it's a nicely fresh, sunny fragrance, too), I went for a yellow background. First I took a few captures with the glittering "bokeh" side of a piece of yellow glitter foamsheet up, and also with some of the foamsheet actually visible behind the perfume bottle, but found the bokeh distracting. So I decided to get closer to the bottom of the bottle, and to use the (dull) side of the foamsheet as an indirect background only. In-camera focus stacking, processed in Luminar 4 (where I enhanced the small [40], medium [22] and large [10] details), and in Nik's Color Efex (where I removed the yellowish colour cast on the label [that had been created by artificial light]).

Worauf bin ich hier nur gestoßen? Eine Planetenmanufaktur etwa? Und bedeutet dies, dass die Planeten unseres Sonnensystems tatsächlich flach wie ein Scheibe bzw. dieses Label sind, wie einige behaupten? Am meisten beunruhigt mich aber das Verfallsdatum der Sonne. Unserer Sonne? Sollte die Haltbarkeit der Sonne tatsächlich am 21.06.2022 ablaufen und nicht erst in fünf Milliarden Jahren? Ich mag gar nicht daran denken. Aber vielleicht hat der fleißige Dean bis dahin ja eine neue Sonne erschaffen. Dean, wir zählen auf Dich!

Jetzt einmal tief durchatmen: Was Ihr hier seht, ist zum Glück bloß die Unterseite eines kleinen Parfümfläschchens, "SUN" von Lush. Ich habe dieses "versteckte" Label eher zufällig entdeckt, wollte eigentlich das Hauptlabel (auf dem zusätzlich zu "SUN" auch noch "Gorilla Perfume" steht, was schon wieder neue Rätsel aufgibt, denn der Duft ist wirklich sehr sonnig und frisch) in der Sonne fotografieren, in der Hoffnung, irgendwie einen schönen Sonnenstern-Effekt zu erzielen - vergeblich. Als Hintergrund habe ich sonnengelbes Glitzermoosgummi verwendet; zuerst mit der Glitzerseite oben und auch als tatsächlicher Hintergrund sichtbar. Ich fand hier aber das Bokeh eher störend, weshalb ich am Ende die stumpfe, aber genauso sonnengelbe Unterseite des Moosgummis und dieses auch nur als indirekten Hintergrund verwendet habe.

Das Foto ist wieder ein Fokus Stacking, dieses Mal mit der Kamera-internen Funktion erstellt. Bearbeitet in Luminar 4 (Verstärkung der kleinen [40], mittleren [22] und großen [10] Details) und in Color Efex Pro, wo ich mittles des Filters "Remove Color Cast" die durch das künstliche Licht erzeugte, leicht gelbliche Verfärbung des Labels wieder entfernt habe.
