BIN SHOT OR A PIECE OF HISTORY... - a photo on Flickriver

            I have no idea what I was trying to achieve here as the approach shot was very distant - still I was  learning [as I still am].

LNWR Precedent class 790 'Hardwicke' paired with BR 2-10-0 9F 92220 'Evening Star' form a contrast in design and power as they approach Hellifield on 19-6-76. This view remained pretty much unchanged through the 1970's and 1980's.

 The tour was organised by the Locomotive Club of Great Britain (North West Branch) and named the The Fells & Dales Railtour.

An impressive day out for those travelling.
