FMcslides1978 46243 on 1M37 Aberdeen and Perth to Euston on Shap

            Shap on the 14th of July 1962 and Stanier Coronation (Semi) 46243 City of Lancaster is at the head of the 1M37 Aberdeen and Perth to Euston service. A heavy load of mixed coaches!
The loco was new to the LMS at Camden in May 1940 for £10,838 and was the last Coronation to have it's streamlining removed. I have her as an Edge Hill loco at this time and withdrawl was in September 1964. She was cut up in August 1965 in a scrapyard in Wigan.
