Haldon Belvedere, Devon - a photo on Flickriver

             The Haldon Belvedere was built in 1788, at the height of the Romantic Period of the Georgian age. The castle is a much loved Devon landmark and sits on top of the ridge near Haldon Forest, just 6 miles west of Exeter with breath-taking panoramic views over the Devon countryside.
