Pictures from a long lost youth
In 1972 I had just acquired my very first camera - a Kodak Brownie. I was just 9 years old and eager to become a photographer! I have unearthed some of my earliest photos, taken on my first time away from home on my own - a school field trip to Devon. Happy days :)

We were on a visit to Totnes and Buckfastleigh - my school friends are walking quietly out of the parish church in Buckfastleigh. I can't quite believe that one of the girls is wearing a straw boater!
