Two of the greenhouses/1980/-technical and heated with thousands of tropical flowers- have been destroyed in 2016 for the construction/extension of a new tennis court for Roland Garros games. Not less than about twenty greenhouses, registered to the Patrimoine, whose architect is J.C Formigé, in the style of 1900: armatures of blue-green cast iron, shape in diagonal rib and stained-glass window. Five years of struggles between the F.F.Tennis/ Mairie de Paris and the associations, local residents and ecologists. Beside, with the destruction of several trees of the protected garden.
