Makeshift cassette lead for UK101 - a photo on Flickriver

            With help from the Faire organisers, who supplied a cassette player and the BBC, who supplied a 3.5mm jack cable, I made up a lead to connect to the UK101.  I'd taken a 5-pin DIN socket with me for just this evenuality!  It worked, and I was able to load a couple of UK101 cassette programs.
