Winter Tree in Royal River Park, 2005

            I dug back into the archives for this shot for a reason, and that reason is the tree in this photo. This was the first shot I took of this tree (or at least the first decent one I kept), and I have taken many, many shots of it since then. Well last night, the tropical storm that came through took it down. It's a sad day - it was a big beautiful shade tree that kids would climb on and folks would picnic under. R.I.P. old tree. Photo taken in 2005 with an Olympus C-5060 Wide Zoom.
