            Looking south along Derwent Water as the skies cleared.Greta End filling the head of the lake well.

On my last morning the forecast was for calm but cloudy, and so I packed up then went for a last walk down to Derwent Water.

The cloud radar showed clear skies out west and the clouds did start to clear to the east. It was calm enough to sit on a rock and wait, whilst many photographers came and went. My patience was rewarded
