The first time I visited Bodie was in October of 2018 and it was closing in on the winter season. Everything was brown and all the plants were ending their seasons. It snows pretty heavily up here in the winter.

This time I visited was in late spring, and it was almost a different place. All the grasses and sagebrush were different shades of green. Bodie is somewhat "alive" because of this in the spring right before it really gets hot.

It was only the mid 70s, but 8,379 feet up in the mountains, I got tired really quickly, and I was constantly hydrating. I wished I had the stamina to stay a little longer than I did. (a little over two hours) But I did photograph areas I didn't in 2018. The sky was really nice too!
