This was taken on a turnout and I wanted to get the flowers, brush and mountain in the same shot. In order to accomplish this, I took shots with three separate focus points. Each time I focused on either background, middle ground, or foreground, and pressed the shutter, the camera automatically takes the three exposures for HDR. So there are a total of nine photos in this picture.

Photoshop can "automatically" detect which parts of multiple shots are in focus and combine them, but I'm never really happy with the results so I did this manually, by compositing one image on top of the next, lining them up, and then erasing the parts of which ever image were out of focus.

It took quite a while to finish. There is still some blurring along the brush in front of the mountain, but you'd probably never notice if I didn't tell you.
