On a Dark Desert Highway - a photo on Flickriver

            It's been about 8 years since I uploaded anything to flickr but I've kept my pro subscription all these years. A lot has happened  during my absence from this platform, most significantly my mom passed away. I had been her primary care giver for several years so I really took it really hard. I moved to another city and recently retired so lots of changes have taken place. After my mom passed I suddenly had the ability to travel and take photos again so I have a ton of photos ready for upload. Hope you all have been well. I've missed the community here on flickr. This photo was taken during a road trip down route 66 and depicts the famous blue swallow motel in Tucumcari New Mexico at sunset.
