            E il mare era per me, e lo è ancora, la più promettete e seduttiva pagina bianca. La pagina non ancora scritta, il sogno non ancora realizzato, il desiderio non ancora estinto, la fuga non ancora portata a compimento, l’assenza che suggerisce la presenza, l’inizio che non ha fine. 
Nella sua distesa luminosa e sconfinata, nei suoi abissi sconosciuti diventa facile e quasi inevitabile trovare una metafora vivente alla propria irrequietezza, all’istinto di libertà, alle paure e all’inesplorata e profonda regione dell’anima.
